Cairo – Mubasher: The stock of Orascom Development Egypt has continued its upward trend on the back of high trading volumes, as the price is currently approaching its historical peak near the EGP 27.15 level, according to Mubasher Trade Research.

Holding above the resistance level of EGP 26.50 supports the chances of rising towards the EGP 27.05 – EGP 27.15 level.

Mubasher Trade Research noted that exceeding this level pushes the price towards EGP 27.60, while remaining below the EGP 25.90 could lead to a decline towards EGP 25.40 level.

Technical indicators reflect a positive performance, as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) moves above the neutral level, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) shows positive signals.

Price Movement Summary

Since the beginning of 2025, the stock entered a sideways fluctuation phase after a strong upward wave that started from levels close to approximately EGP 16 and reached a peak near the EGP 27 level.

The stock was unable to maintain its upward momentum and a corrective wave began, leading to a decline to EGP 20, which represents a main support area.

Then the stock began to rise with a noticeable increase in trading volumes, entering an upward trend until December and achieving a historical peak at the EGP 27.15 level.

After that, the price faced severe selling pressure until January 2026, but the overall trend of the stock remains upward.
